TANECU LTD is the short term of Tandahimba Newala cooperative union which was registered in 1995 under the Co-Operative Societies Act of 1991 with registration number 5512 and changed its registration number to be 5569 in 2008. TANECU LTD has 183 Agricultural Marketing cooperative Societies (AMCOS) representing Cashew Nuts Farmers of Tandahimba and Newala Districts. It is also having over 400 cashew nut farmers.
